Here you will find case series and case reports in which I demonstrate the use of negative pressure therapy in the duodenum, including a video. I show the main techniques of drainage placement using different types of drains, including pull-through placement of drains.
In the duodenum, lumen drainage of duodenal secretions plays a crucial role in the success of therapy. We were able to publish the first description in 2010, already. Since then, the method has become the mainstay of the management of the surgical complications of a duodenal leak at our hospital.
